Noelle this is my second time reading over this… and yet the outcome is still the same… like a sword cutting straight through my heart.
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things…” (Matthew 25:21, 23)
As the Lord recalls how I’ve neglected “my few” conviction settles in to my soul. I’m still new to ministry life, and still learning how to balance my “few” things along with my “many”. Too often I find myself attending to the “many” and letting the “few” take the back seat. With the help of some Godly women and wonderful mentors I’m learning there is plenty of time in the day to accomplish all of the things He has for me to do. It’s when I take my focus off of His to do list and place it on my own to do list that things become overwhelming. This is also when my “few” things as well as my “many” things suffer, because I’ve decided to lead instead of follow.
Today I join you, Noelle, diligently striving for Matthew 25 faithfulness… starting with my family! Love you girl!
