“But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of man’s hands. They have mouths, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see; they have ears, but they cannot hear; they have noses, but they cannot smell; they have hands, but they cannot feel; they have feet, but they cannot walk; they cannot make a sound with their throat. Those who make them will become like them, everyone who trusts in them.” Psalm 115:3-8
Take a minute to think about this …
Man has created all kinds of gods and placed them in the rightful position of the One True Living God. Not all of these things have been created in His image, but to the ones that have, I have one question … Why?
Why have we constructed these things to resemble the Rejected God? We’ve given them all the things we think our “god” needs yet they remain worthless. They remain corrupt. They remain motionless, lifeless, and most of all unable – UNABLE!
My God, the One True and LIVING God, is IN the Heavens! He is able to do as He pleases! He IS willing, ready, able and available!
How about yours? Does your god lie lifeless? Or does He sit on His throne, inclining His ear, proving He still exist day in and day out?
