Psalm 54:6-7
I will freely sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good. For He has delivered me out of all trouble; And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.
Lord Jesus, I am so grateful that You loved me enough to endure the cost of sin. You gave Your life so that I may have eternal life, and You rescued my soul from certain death. Lord rise up, and deliver us from the evil that is within us! Lend us the courage to run to you when tempted in this life. We seek to remain in You Lord Jesus, and we trust in Your mighty grip on us that will never let us go. We praise You! Who else can deliver us!? Who else can perfectly know us!?

So many times throughout my day I’m tempted to show my fleshly attitude, and instead of running to Jesus I let those temptations become a reality. As the Lord convicts me of my actions, my heart aches. I apologize to all whom I have offended, yet still the shame and guilt and the utter disappointment of who I am consume me.
Jesus died to rid me of sin and shame as well as all of the other horrible feelings that go along with it. So today, even though I’ve already failed, I’m choosing to run to Him, cling to Him, and trust him when He says that His mercies are new. Instead of fretting over what should have been, I’m choosing to move on and see each an every opportunity as a chance to succeed … A chance to let Him shine … A chance to embrace the God who died for me … A chance to offer a freewill offering to the Only One worthy.
Will you join me? Will you run to Him today? He’s waiting … ALWAYS … with wide open arms to embrace WHOSOEVER will.
