A Place For EVERY Woman

My sisters in the Lord, regardless of where you are on your walk with the Father … There is a place for EVERY woman at the foot of the Cross.

The Letter W

boston prayers

“There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.”

1 Corinthians 12:6

God is WORKING!

Working is defined as:  activity in which one exerts strength or faculties to do or perform something

The same God who was there in the beginning, before this world existed, is the same God who is here today.  The same God who was there the night Jesus was born is the same God who was there ushering the Boston and West Texas souls into His arms.  He’s the same God who was at work when His Son was brutally crucified, and He’s the same God who was at work when the shrapnel ripped through the crowds in Boston and when the fertilizer plant exploded.  He never has, nor will He ever change.

Yes it seems as though His hand is not present, and possibly that He doesn’t care, but nothing could be further from the truth.  Since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, Satan and all of his evilness has been slithering all over this earth looking for the perfect opportune moment in which he can utterly destroy the object of attack.

“When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.”  Luke 4:13

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;”  John 10:10

We have seen the effects of this destroyer seeking out his prey.  We have seen how viciously he can be.  We have seen how devastating his ways can be.  We have seen how hopelessness abounds after these attacks.

If you will read this passage of scripture and as you do let yourself go there … go to the very place where Pilate stood questioning Jesus … the very place where Jesus stood next to Barabas … the very place where a multitude of people stood and chanted “Crucify Him, Crucify HIM, CRUCIFY HIM!”

Matthew 27:22-25

Pilate said to them, “Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?”  They all said, “Crucify Him!”  And he said, “Why, what evil has He done?”  But they kept shouting all the more, saying, “Crucify Him!”  When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this Man’s blood; see to that yourselves.”  And all the people said, “His blood shall be on us and on our children!”

Read that last statement again …

And all the people said, “His blood shall be on us and on our children!”

Do you hear the irony in what they are saying?

These people were saying … “Okay Pilate.  We will condemn Him to death … us and our children.”  Yet even though they made certain His blood would be shed, and figuratively “covered” themselves and their children with His blood … with their once and for all sacrifice … still they literally rejected the cross … rejected the crucifixion of Christ … rejected the only possible atonement for their sins.

For them to have been so close to Jesus … so close to not just one drop, but puddles of His “washes whiter than snow” blood, only to trample through it … only to have the feeling of His blood under their feet … never to feel it radiating through their veins, cleansing them from all sin … past, present and future … and sealing their soul into the very hand of God.

Oh if this is you … do not delay … the time is coming …

And Christian … I plead with you … we’ve got work to do … His work … do not delay … the time is coming …

God allowed these things to happen this way to prove that He is in fact still performing a work in this land … one that will soon be completed …

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 1:6

… and then He will once again say … It is finished!

“It is done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.  I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.  He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.”  Revelation 21:6-7

Only those who have been cleansed by the perfect, sinless, unblemished blood of the precious Jesus Christ, will be allowed to enter the gates.  They will have access, through the receiving of His offering, to the tree of life.  Eternal life in a place where the love of God is undeniably present because God Himself will be there … right there in the very midst of us!

And as far as Satan and all of his wicked ways … they will be no more … not even through our memories!

“And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”  Revelation 20:10

Praise the Lord!

Oh Lord, thank You for who You are!  Thank You that You’ve never changed!  You are the one constant and reliable source in our lives.  When this world changes hourly, You are still the same.  What peace floods my soul? It is a wonderful feeling to know I never have to worry, because You are the one who is in control.  Yes there are all kinds of things at work here.  Many evil things, but Lord there are good things too.  Thank You for sending reminders that You indeed are performing a work in this place, one that will one day reach completion.  What an honor and privilege to be awarded an opportunity to participate in Your perfect plan!  Lord, what an enormous responsibility You’ve called us too, and it’s not one we should take lightly.  As I go through my days, Lord please lead me.  Guide my heart, and my eyes that they may see and feel all that Your Spirit does.  Lord may I listen and respond to Your calling, following Your plan down to the very last detail.  Father I’ve left so many treasures on the battlefield, so many lost souls … I don’t want to leave any more.  Please complete Your work in me … Lord it is for You, through You and because of You that I pray these things … Amen!
